  1. Within our control panel, go to the Redis Cache Manager under the Software heading:

  1. In the manager, click "Start Redis":

  1. You will see output similar to this if everything installed correctly:

  1. After this, you just need to configure your WordPress site to use it. We recommend setting up LiteSpeed Cache to use Redis. LiteSpeed Cache is usually optimal for our platform, though you're welcome to use other options as well. For LiteSpeed Cache, you'll need to set it up as follows:

First, in the Object Cache Settings, make sure that it shows Redis Extension is enabled. After that, make sure the method is set to Redis, fill out the host field with /home/username/etc/redis.sock. Your username can be found on the main control panel home page under General Information on the right. Next, make sure port is set to 0. All other defaults are fine.

Important note: If you wish to use Redis in staging, as well as production, make sure that on the staging version, you change the Redis Database ID to something other than 0. You can use 0 through 15.
